RARE copy of this much sought after FIRST UK Beatle album released in 1963!
Hard to find in any condition!
This is the 4th pressing first released in the summer of 1963 with black label and yellow logo and silver print. "The Parlophone Co. Ltd." is printed at the start perimeter print and "Recording first published 1963" at the 9 o'clock position.
Correct original sleeve with Angus McBean credit starting at the end of g in songs.
Sleeve: Fair/Poor WELL WORN but cool example of a 1963 laminated original cover! General creasing and wear throughout and tape on front and back of flipback that looks to be holding it together.
Record: G+
There are a few skips on Side 1 Track 1 but after that plays pretty well throughout with no other skips on my turntable. There is crackling/pops intermittently especially on the quieter parts but still an enjoyable listen.
Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N; Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
Nice chance to own and enjoy an original UK Beatle classic! It definitely has some issues/wear but is priced accordingly. Probably the only one you'll ever find at this price point!
