THE BEATLES FIRST ALBUM "PLEASE PLEASE ME"!!!!
2nd PRESS MONO BLACK & GOLD PARLOPHONE LABELS PMC1202
A VERY RARE AND COLLECTABLE ALBUM BY THE BEATLES CALLED "PLEASE PLEASE ME" ON THE NOW FAMOUSLY KNOWN BLACK & GOLD LABEL!!!! THIS IS THE MUCH RARER "NORTHERN SONGS" CREDIT!!!! WHEN THIS ALBUM WAS FIRST RELEASED THE 6 NEW SONGS BY LENNON & McCARTNEY WERE CREDITED TO "DICK JAMES MUSIC CO" AND WERE PRESSED IN THEIR THOUSANDS!!!! JUST BEFORE THE CHANGE TO THE MORE COMMON YELLOW & BLACK LABEL AND DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND THEY CREATED A SECOND PRESS WHERE THE CEDITS WERE CHANGED TO "NORTHERN SONGS" AND ONLY SEVERAL HUNDRED OF THESE WERE ISSUED, SO THEREFOR THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY MUCH RARER THAN THE "DICK JAMES MUSIC CO" COPIES!!!!
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL MONO UK 2nd PRESSING ON THE "BLACK & GOLD" PARLOPHONE LABELS", IT HAS THE "PARLOPHONE COMPANY" EDGE TEXT.
THIS ALBUM CONTAINED THE "A" & "B" SIDES TO THEIR FIRST TWO SINGLES, PLUS 10 NEW SONGS ALL RECORDED IN ONE INCREDIBLE SESSION AT ABBEY ROAD!!!! THE SESSION COST JUST £400 AND LASTED 16 HOURS. JUST IMAGINE BEING THERE. IT STILL HOLDS THE RECORD FOR THE LONGEST CONTINUOUS STAY AT NUMBER 1!!!!

, WITH THE ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE.
I borrowed the above information from another Ebay sale of this Rare album. I am not an expert on records,
so I cannot give the ratings that dealers and collectors use. O
ver the next couple of weeks I am putting on Ebay some of my Uncles LPs, that were left to me. As you will see by the pictures the cover is in a used condition but pretty good for it's considerable age! There are tears to the top and on bottom of the rear cover (please see pics), where the record has been taken in and out the sleeve. The record itself plays well, I could not hear crackling, apart from before the first track (which I think is normal). The record is clean and straight and is very good, although in the light, at certain angles viewed, I can see some marks on the record, but nothing deep, or that would affect the play.
The album will be well packed and sent out first class. As I am not an expert on records, if you win the record, but are not happy with it, or my description, I will refund your money, plus all postage, as long as the album is returned in the condition it was sent out in.
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK IF BIDDING!!!!
