This is the VERY RARE Black & Gold MONO UK 1963 1st Pressing called 'Please Please Me' and is in brilliant condition with INCREDIBLE labels and a MASSIVELY rare Parlophone insert!!!! It is also the most sought after Black & Gold variation being the VERY 1st Pressing with the 'Dick James' Credits to BOTH labels!!!! THIS IS MASSIVELY RARE!!!!  FINDING A BLACK & GOLD MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IS HARD ENOUGH - BUT FINDING A MONO BLACK AND GOLD 1ST PRESSING WITH A MEGA RARE PARLOPHONE INSERT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!! THE MASSIVELY RARE PARLOPHONE INSERT (SEE PICTURES) WAS PUT INSIDE A FEW RECORDS AND ADVERTISED CURRENT (AND FORTHCOMING) PARLOPHONE LPS!!!!  THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THIS RECORD TOLD ME BOUGHT IT IN 1963 IN A LOCAL RECORD SHOP IN NORTH LONDON AND HE SAID THE INSERT WAS INSIDE THE RECORD WHEN HE BOUGHT IT.  OF COURSE MOST OF THESE MEGA RARE INSERTS WOULD HAVE BEEN THROWN AWAY IMMEDIATELY - BUT LUCKILY ENOUGH THE PREVIOUS OWNER DIDNT AND LEFT IT INSIDE THE COVER!!!!  IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND THIS INSERT!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE LABELS ON THIS MONO BLACK & GOLD 1ST PRESSING ARE AMONG THE VERY BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!  THE RECORD ALSO RETAINS A WONDERFUL SHINE AND IS NOT 'WORN' AND 'GREY' LIKE SO MANY OTHERS!!!! THIS IS A GREAT CONDITIONED BLACK & GOLD 1ST PRESSING OF THIS SOUGHT AFTER LP!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st pressing from 1963 and is in brilliant condition!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Black & Gold 1st  pressing, with the Black & Gold label (with the most sought after 'Dick James' Credits) and is in brilliant condition. It also has 'The Parlophone Company' edge text, an E.J.Day Sleeve and its ORIGINAL VERY early 'thicker' Patents Applied For Polythene lined Emitex inner. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. The mother & stamper codes are 1/GR & 1/GD - BOTH FROM THE FIRST MOTHER!!!! The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the ORIGINAL Black & Gold Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AMAZING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, crystal clear Gold print, beautiful unfaded black colour, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! THESE LABELS ARE AWESOME AND IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE LABELS!!!! They really DO look as STUNNING as my pictures - what you see is EXACTLY what you get!!!! I dont usually grade labels - but it is such an important part of this record and these are OUTSTANDING and must grade Excellent++ if not better!!!!  IT IS REALLY TOUGH TO FIND BLACK & GOLD LABELS LIKE THESE!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! As many collectors know - Black and Gold Records are the VERY hardest Beatles Pressings to find in anywhere near decent condition. Most are found damaged and barely playable. However this one is NOT - and retains EVERY BIT of its ORIGINAL gloss, shine and is VERY 'black' looking - and is NOT 'grey' and 'worn' looking like so many others. In fact it is IMPORTANT TO NOTE that although there are a few marks on the vinyl - apart from these the vinyl is VERY black, shiny and glossy looking and is NOT covered in scuffing!!!!  In fact apart from the marks mentioned below there is virtually ZERO paper scuffing and it has ALL the shine of a Mint record!!!!  The CRYSTAL CLEAR sound on this record is AWESOME and the few marks have clearly been caused from carelessness and NO WAY from overplay - because this Mono Black & Gold 1st Pressing has clearly barely been played AT ALL - and the overall look of the record and the labels is FANTASTIC!!!! Visually there is NO deep needle scratches, only a VERY few light (and difficult to see) hairlines and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! However on Side 1 there are 4 or 5 careless marks - though most of these are TOTALLY non sounding!!!!  It is IMPORTANT TO NOTE - that although it cannot be denied the few marks are there - the record plays FANTASTICALLY and the overall 'look' of the record is VERY new looking and of a VERY high class!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only a few always low level clicks/pops (virtually NONE are audible over the SUPERB quality music - and ALL are VERY low level), NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!!  The musical quality of this LP is SUPERB with CRYSTAL CLEAR sound and NO distortion and even with the very occassional click/pop - it will be a VERY long time before you hear a Black & Gold which plays as well as this one!!!! The record must strictly grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  IT IS EXCEPTIONALLY RARE TO FIND A BLACK & GOLD 1ST PRESSING IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'thicker paper' 'Patents Applied For' POLYTHENE lined Emitex inner sleeve!!!! THE MEGA PARLOPHONE INSERT IS IN SUPERB CONDITION AND HAS CLEARLY NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE COVER!!!!  The E.J.Day FLIPBACK Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, a VERY small (and unnoticeable) crease to the top right flipback, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent (Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!
