BEATLES Please Please Me 4th Press With SIUK Sold In UK Lower Case Rims

I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.
All singles come with the sleeves they're pictured with, I don't use repros,so if it's with what looks like an original sleeve, it is an original sleeve!
Here we have an incredibly rare 4th UK pressing of the Beatles' second UK Please Please Me! Obviously their rise had been meteoric from the first release of Please Please Me until the height of full on Beatlemania, and they had been so very prolific in both touring and releases, that by Spring of 1964 they'd had major national and international successes with From Me To You, She Loves You, I Want To Hold Your Hand,and their current single Can't Buy Me Love. Who then at this time was especially ordering their second single (which was by now readily available on EP and LP aswell), not to mention there were probably a million and one copies in circulation fromfans only after the newest hit, and many record shops would still carry older copies of this single on the off-chance. Anyway, by Spring 1964 EMI were still making the odd batch of Please Please Me singles, but in incredibly small numbers. This is one such copy! What dates it at Spring 1964 is the WONDERFUL "Sold In UK..." text, combined with the Upperand Lower-case rim-text. This is truly an incredibly rare single,that most collectors would give their eye-teeth for! They so very rarely come up for sale,and here I offer you one!
Record Condition: VG- visually plenty of light surface marks/hairlines dullening the surface when angled under direct light, in normal light there are still a few light surface marks visible, but absolutely nothing even approaching "feelable". The audio is wonderful and strong, much stronger than the visual grade, with just very mild static on the run-ins and run-outs. Really Great! Labels Condition: VG The A-side label let's the side down a little bit, with a little sticker adhesive near the 12 o'clock "Parlophone" text and 1 about 6mm squared damaged area by sticker removal. The adhesive may well come off with careful cleaning. Other than that, nice labels, with just a few light handling/spindle trails etc. The 4-prong centre disc proudly proclaims "Sold In UK...", and is completely perfecty attached! Wonderful! The B-side label is much better without any such sticker reside or light damage of the A-side. The only detriment, and it's hard to spot and angle into the light correctly, is a very secretively written, "PIF", it's almost as if they haven't written it in pen, but rather used something like the spindle to just rub their initials into the surface of the label,anyway,hard to see, but there just t the right of the song title. The centrally embssed KT tax code is on the A-side.
A really nice copy of a record that you could be waiting a LONG time to see the next copy of come-up in any condition!
