THIS IS A VERY RARE MONO ORIGINAL PRESSING
THE VINYL: This extremely rare first pressing of “Please Please Me” is a must for all Beatles Collectors. This copy is in Very Good Condition. The vinyl is almost spotless with just one or two tiny surfaces markings, but its plays well.
THE LABELS:The Gold and Black Mono Parlophone Labels are still bright and clean with almost no sign of spinal wear. The labels bear the “Dick James Music” Credits and the Matrix Numbers XEX.421-1N on (Side 1) and XEX.422-1N on (Side 2). The embossed Tax Codes next to the spinal hole on Side 2 is Z and T.
THE INNER SLEEVE: This collectors item comes with its original emitex polythene and paper inner sleeve which has some creasing but otherwise clean, tidy and intacted.
THE OUTER SLEEVE:The outer sleeve shows its age the most, with the corners a little worn and few creases on the front cover. The wrap over seams top and bottom on the reverse have began to come apart a little. The sleeve has yellowed slightly with age but the over all look of the sleeve is good. There is no defacing or writing on the sleeve and it has the words “Printed and Made by Ernest J.Day & Co. Ltd. London” on the reverse flap and the Credit to Angus McBean on the front right hand corner.
If you don’t have a copy of this album, you must bid on this one. Its not a perfect copy but has clearly been looked after for the past forty years. DON’T MISS OUT!
