Description

You are bidding for a Black and gold pressing of 'PLEASE PLEASE ME’ by The Beatles on the mega rare black and gold label and is in excellent condition. This has to be one of the rarest and best conditioned copies of this fabulous LP to be ever offered for sale on eBay.

WHAT REALLY SETS THIS LP APART FROM OTHER BLACK AND GOLD PRESSINGS, IS THAT THE REAR COVER HAS BEEN SIGNED BY PAUL McCARTNEY, GEORGE HARRISON AND RINGO STARR AS YOU WILL SEE FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHS.

I bought the LP new, within a week of its release and my late sister, Cathy, had the rear cover signed by three of The Beatles when they were playing at a local concert in 1963/64.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity; you are not likely to get another chance.

This is the very rare black & gold Mono UK 1963 pressing of 'Please Please Me'. The Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd, cover is also a VERY early first printing with the 'Angus Bean' photo credit set to the far right of the front cover. This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK pressing from 1963 and is in excellent condition. It is an ORIGINAL Black & Gold pressing, with the Black & Gold label and is in excellent condition for a record which is 41 years old. It also has 'The Parlophone Company' edge text, its ORIGINAL earlier Ernest J. Day Sleeve (with the Angus McBean credit over to the right) and a Polythene lined Emitex inner sleeve. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. The stamper codes are T and GR. The Catalogue No is PMC 1202 on the ORIGINAL Black & Gold Parlophone label (see photos) and is a MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are quality Beatles at their best. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection.

The labels are near perfect with a VERY light spider spindle mark which is only visible on side one. SEE THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE LABELS TOTALLY BRILLIANT. The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition with a bright sheen to the playing surfaces. As many collectors know - Black and Gold Records are the VERY hardest Beatles Pressings to find in anywhere near decent condition. This one has VERY few of the lightest surface marks only visible under a bright light and of course have no effect on play apart from a very slight left channel clicking on “Boys” which lasts for about five seconds and can just about be heard when checking with quality headphones. The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'thicker paper' POLYTHENE lined Emitex inner sleeve.

THIS IS LIKELY TO BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY ONE OF THE BEST CONDITIONED COPIES OF THIS RARE ORIGINAL AUTOGRAPHED MEGA RARE BLACK & GOLD MONO PRESSING OF "PLEASE PLEASE ME" BY THE BEATLES, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
