THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME - Early Yellow/Black STEREO PRESSING
This auction is for one of the most sort after Beatles vinyl releases and would be a great addition to any Beatles collection.
- The Beatles "Please Please Me" - Parlophone Yellow / Black PCS 3042
- Rare Early 1963 pressing
- YEX 94/95-1-1
- Stamper: MT (on Side 2) - this was used between January 1963 through July 1963
- Parlophone Sleeve with large STEREO top right (1963) and Angus McBean photo credit, bottom right
- Sleeve printing by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd (rarer than Garrod & Lofthouse printed sleeves, as Ernest J. Day only printed approx. 30% of Beatles sleeves)
A superb piece of Beatles vinyl, which is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The record itself has noticably been played with a few minor scratches, but after a careful play by myself revealed a crisp and clear performance without any jumps.
The sleeve also in VERY GOOD CONDITION, but unfortunately the sleeve has come apart at the bottom seam (this can be seen in the photo - just being honest!). However, this does not detract too much from the collectability of this rare piece of Beatles vinyl.
The photo in my auction is for the ACTUAL item for sale, not taken from a website elsewhere. I never sell copies or fakes.
