Description
On offer here is a UK original stereo 7th pressing of the Please Please Me LP by THE BEATLES. This edition comes with the 'Gramophone Co. Ltd.' rim text and without the ‘Sold In UK’ text. This copy comes in a laminated flipback Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve with small STEREO wording. The matrix numbers are Side 1 – YEX 94-1 & Side 2 – YEX 95-1. Catalogue number is PCS3042. Mothers & stampers are: Side 1 – 2 MG & Side 2 – 1 AT.
Visually the record easily grades as EX condition. Apart from one hairline mark across track 1 side 1, which is inaudible, there is hardly a mark to be seen. I have played it through and it sounds great. There were no clicks, sticks or jumps and it is 100% flat with no dishing or warping. The labels are very nice with no writing or damage, just a little spindle wear.
The original flipback laminated Garrod and Lofthouse cover is graded in VG++ condition with just some very light creasing and corner wear and some light marking on the back. There is a small area of damage, looks like a scuff, on the front face above the words 'PLEASE ME' in the white title stripe and a small scuff on the spine just on the lower half of the word 'ME' but this is still a very clean cover with no tears, splits or writing.
Comes with a sepia Emitex inner sleeve in EX+ condition with no tears etc.
A very nice copy of a classic Beatles rarity!!!!

Records will be packed in very secure brand new professional record mailers with cardboard stiffeners and with the LP in a PVC sleeve and with the inner sleeve and record separate from the cover to avoid splits etc - I do not make a profit on postage at all and delivery quickly and pack very securely for maximum safety.
