This Auction is for a rare 4th press 1963 Mono LP

PARLOPHONE PMC 1202 Mono 1963 Made in Gt.Britain.
This is a 4th Press copy of a classic 1960's Beatles album in original Mono.
Matrix No's are XEX 421 - 1N and XEX 422 - 1N.
Yellow Parlophone logo with Silver Text on black label. Recording first published above left side indicator number. Made in Gt.Britain at bottom of label. Rare perimeter lettering beginning "The Parlophone Co.Ltd." Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., Patents Pending sleeve with large "MONO" on front cover. Front cover photo credit to Angus McBean at bottom right hand corner.

Side 1. I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna (Go To Him), Chains, Boys, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me.
Side 2. Love Me Do, P.S. I Love You, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret, A Taste Of Honey, There's A Place, Twist And Shout.
Record condition: Very good condition with light surface marks visible. No major scratches or anything that affects the play badly. I've played both sides of the record and there is a bit of background noise in between tracks and an odd crackle & pop here and there, but there are no stops or sticks and the record plays well all the way through.
Label condition: The labels are both in very good condition with no writing or damage. There is evidence of play around the spindle hole on both sides, but it is certainly not excessive for a played album in this condition.
Outer Sleeve/Cover: Original laminated front flip-back outer sleeve printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd., in very good ++ condition as well. The laminate is complete and hasn't lifted. There are a few very tiny ripples towards the spine edge and a few very light ripples towards the opening edge, but they are really very minor. The rear flip-back is fabulous and apart from a very slight ageing really is in a lovely condition. All in all a fabulous cover that borders on having an "Excellent" grading.
Spine condition: The spine itself is in fabulous condition. After all this time, it is still incredibly straight and square and all the printing is undamaged and shows clearly,
Inner Sleeve: Original tracing paper lined die-cut inner sleeve in excellent, original condition.
Summary: Classic early Beatles LP in lovely, original condition.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
