Description

Up for sale is The Beatles 1st UK album "Please Please Me" originally released in 1963 in glorious mono. This is a 1995 mono reissue on Parlophone/E.M.I. Records PMC 1202 and is far superior to the "fake stereo" versions of this LP. It has been Direct Metal Mastered from a digitally re-mastered original tape for the best possible sound quality. The record has been play tested and is a great sounding EX, and would be NM except for some barely audible surface noise in the first 10 seconds of side 2. The cover is NM and still in shrink (price sticker and smudging in top back cover corner on the shrink). A very nice copy of the record that started it all!
