BEATLES RARE Please, Please Me / From Me To You VJ PS + Brackets & Oval 45s!

Offered here is a great package of a rare original early 1964 US VJ Records Beatles release Please, Please Me / From Me To You VJ-581. Included is the rare picture sleeve, a VJ Records company sleeve and two black rainbow 45rpm singles, both brackets and oval label versions.

CONDITION

Picture Sleeve

Bright white VG to VG+ picture sleeve with vivid saturated colors and clear sharp images and text. A very respectable example of this rare sought after and high dollar 60 year old picture sleeve. No seam splits, no tape, no writing, no staple holes. Minor signs of age and handling wear, minimal disc impression and ring wear. Included is an acid free picture sleeve insert and resealable Japanese polypropylene sleeve.

Fully play tested on a Fluance RT85 Reference Turntable with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge.

Rainbow Brackets label: Clean VG vinyl with multiple light abrasions to both sides, a few minor scratches, certainly none that are feelable or cause skips or repeats. A loud deep groove pressing with minimal audible noise that is present only in quiet passages and fadeout. There is also a small factory blemish on both sides near the labels in the runout that does not affect play. Hand etched matrix numbers and AudioMatrix machine stamps in the trail off of both sides. Very nice black rainbow VJ brackets labels with no VJ before the record number, thin title font (no comma on side 1 title) and bold condensed “THE BEATLES” in VG+ condition. There is some bubbling and a small tear to the B side. Also included is a new poly lined paper sleeve.

VJ Records Company Sleeve (one)

Period correct VJ company sleeve with some minor handling wear and three seam splits. No staple holes, tears or missing paper. Still displays very nicely.
