Description
The Beatles - 'Revolver' - 1966 LP on the yellow / black Parlophone label. Catalogue number is PMC 7009.
Matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-2.
Label demonstrates Gramophone Co Ltd and Sold in the UK texts. Side 1 also has KT tax code.
Dr. Robert track listing on the cover is reproduced as Doctor Robert on the label.
Spindle marks demonstrate that the record has been played quite extensively.
As stated the sleeve is in really nice condition without major defects. It remains very clean with just a little handling wear and very slight ringwear. Spine details are undamaged and clearly discernible.
The record retains a good sheen. It does have a number of faint / light marks none of which are feelable and constitute real scratches. Any surface noise is on the whole very minor and generally the record plays really nicely. First track on side 2, 'Good Day Sunshine' does have slightly more pronounced surface noise however (still in my view light) and a few very light 'ticks'. The worst obvious mark on the vinyl affects the track 'Love you to' - the track is largely unaffected with a few light ticks which are largely covered by the music ie. in no ways horrible.
I would grade the sleeve as being in a very clear EX condition. The record I think does justify a VG+ rating.
