" REVOLVER "
PARPLOPHONE PMC 7009 MONO 1st PRESSING
Released 1966 on UK PARLOPHONE Records. The laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
Although both sides of the vinyl sound EXCELLENT, with some light paper scuffs, and light surface scratches audible between tracks,
plus the spindle trails on the labels mean that a VG+ grading would be more accurate (see pic).
Since this is an early mono pressing the dynamic sound over-rides the minimal background surface sound except for, occasionally, in the silence between tracks.
Comes in original "Emitex ad" poly-lined inner.
The label text has "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." and "Sold in UK...".
Side Two matrix number is XEX 606 - 2.
IF YOU'VE BEEN WAITING YOU WILL HAVE NOTICED THAT PLAYABLE MONO FIRST PRESSINGS OF THIS CLASSIC LP DON'T SURFACE VERY OFTEN,
I FEEL CONFIDENT THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT A LONG TIME UNTIL YOU FIND ANOTHER ONE THIS GOOD, IF THERE IS ONE !!!
