Revolver, Parlophone, PMC 7009, August 5, 1966, mono. "Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending" front laminated flipback cover with small “mono” on the front and with “Dr. Robert” (early variation) song credit on the back side.
Side 2 matrix no.: XEX 606-1 have mispressing “Remix 11” of “Tomorrow Never Knows”. When “Revolver” was initially mixed a different master for “Tomorrow Never Knows” was sent off to be pressed. This mix is known as ‘Remix 11’. Although subtle, it is different to the standard ‘Remix 8’ which was ultimately to replace it. The story goes that each group member was given the first copies from the production line and John went to listen to it. But, it turned out that he was unhappy with the mix or that the wrong one had been used and he informed George Martin. Production was then stopped as the new masters were cut and the pressing plates were replaced. First presses have a side 2 matrix number of XEX 606-1 whereas the standard presses have XEX 606-2 and beyond.

CONDITIONS:
Sleeve: Original Mono, "Printed and Made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending", shine glossy, gatefold full laminated inside flipback sleeve with mono PSC 7009 number on back side. The famous album cover design, one of the earliest albums of the psychedelic era,  the band recruited Klaus Voormann, a friend from their Hamburg days. Voormann's spacey collage of drawings and photos complemented songs that reflected the Beatles' LSD experiments during its production. The sleeve is holding up fine with no splits, writings or tears, only some nonessential laminate folds traces at the edges. Spine is intact, well redable. Nice example in lovely clean Very good plus (+) condition!
Record: Very good, flat vinyl with a very light wraped contur, which occurs in most thick 60's vinyls, but does not affect the playing. I can define the vinyl as better, if there were not a very light spindle trace on the labels and light surface hairlines and marks. Lovely deep glossy sheen, no any bad scuffs, no any deep scratches! Looking really very good, nice lafter storage for more 50 years! Indeed, it's so difficult to find original vinyls of this record 1st press with Remix11! Matrix numbers: Side one: XEX 605-2, Side two: XEX 606-1, very early mother/stampers, you see 1/P and 2/T - realy, very, very early pressing!
Audio: Very good, plays with deep solid mono sound, with no sticks, jumps, certainly a decent & very playable original 1st press copy. Without any low/weak surfase noise between songs, but at quiter places as well, that is normal fine for vinyl records more 50 years,  there is pops, crackles and light static clicks. Pls., unfortunately this is not near mint or excellent vinyl.
Inner sleeve: The Original Plain white paper “EMI Sleeve Type-1-1” inner sleeve with “PATENTS APPLIED FOR” on the bottom left side. Used between 1966-1968, including first pressing “Revolver”. Excellent condition.
Labels: Excellent, Yellow Parlophone Type-6-1. First press label has Sans-serif print and song name "DR. ROBERT" on the Side 2. The labels are clean, the text is bright and full readable, there are no tears, stains, etc. Labels has a  cople of light spindle traces.
