This is one of the earliest UK pressings of Revolver and so it has the withdrawn version of Tomorrow Never Knows. This has the first matrix numbers, the first mothers and really early stampers (10 and 11) as follows:
XEX 605-2 1 GD
XEX 606-1 1 GG
It comes in its original E.J. Day cover and plain 'Patents applied for' inner sleeve.
The playing surfaces have only light surface marks. I've played the whole record and there are no jumps or skips, just some crackle and a few clicks. There is some noticeable noise at the beginning of Good Day Sunshine, but there isn't really anything else that stood out.
The cover has signs of age and wear, but no seam splits, writing etc, and the record labels have spindle marks to show that the record has been relatively well-played but there aren't any major issues. Note that the side one label has the extra dot in the 'Sold in the UK . . . ' text.
The original inner sleeve has various signs of age and wear, but it is in one piece, with no writing etc.
