Description
BEATLES - REVOLVER LP - MONO - 1st PRESSING 1966 PMC7009 XEX606-1 MATRIX. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class. COVER: Very minor creasing marks within the laminate, reverse is clean with minor age discolouration VG+ RECORD: Side 1 has minor surface scuffing and a couple of light stylus skate marks, none can be detected by touch, but a short section in track 4 can be heard with a feint repeat crackle, otherwise no clicks or crackles but light surface noise between some tracks and on the run-in and run-out. Side 2 has one short scratch at the end of track 1. There are a couple of clicks at the beginning, and clicks at the end of track1, at which point there is also a single groove forward skip that takes out the words "good day" in the phrase "good day sunshine". The rest of side 2 has no clicks or crackles and is quiet between tracks and at the run-out, effectively playing EX. Sound reproduction throughout is crisp and clear and without the issue in track 1 of side 2 I would happily grade this copy VG+ and therefore the grade should be reduced to VG or VG- to recognise this. Both sides have been checked and played in full and at sufficiently loud volume using a Citronix Pro PD-1s MK2 direct drive turntable, QSC GX3 power amp and Sonus Faber speakers.
