BEATLES REVOLVER LP - ST-8-2576 - SCARCE RECORD CLUB ISSUE - GREEN LABEL
We WILL ship internationally!
Up for auction is this green label record club issue of the Beatles Revolver Lp. These were issued from 1969-1971 and were sold to Capitol record club members only. The record club issues can be differentiated from the regular issue records by the catalog number on the labels and on the cover which both have the "8" in the middle of the catalog number and also by the three bars which appear in the upper left corner of the cover.
The record is in pretty nice shape. The disk still has some of it's gloss remaining. There are some sleeve marks and a couple of lite but longer scratches. The labels are in great condition. It probably grades about a 50 or so on a 100 point scale.
The cover is in pretty good shape too. There are no stickers, writing, or seam splits on the cover. There is a moderate bit of shelf and ring wear, but nothing substantial. It probably grades VG+ or about a 70 on a 100 point scale.
I will start the bidding at $29.99, which should be a great starting price for this scarce Beatles collectible! I am NOT an 'expert' at grading records, but I do have a lot of experience and I have tried to describe any imperfections so that you know exactly what you are bidding on. The records are visually graded. In addition, I am including enlarged photos of the covers and records. Beware of any records being sold on ebay that do not include clear photos!
For you investment minded collectors, Beatles collectibles have always provided rock solid investment potential. Demand for quality Beatles products is always high and price guide values reflect that demand. For instance, the 1987 Beatles Price & Reference Guide by Perry Cox and Michael Miller says this record is worth $15 in VG condition and $30 in nm, while the 2007 price guide for Beatles American Records by Perry Cox and Frank Daniels says this record is worth $40 in VG condition and $120 in nm.
All records will be shipped in rigid cardboard record mailers and will clearly be marked "fragile". In order to keep shipping costs down, items will be sent via media mail. Buyers can select the priority mail option but the shipping cost is higher.
I will also combine auction wins to save on shipping costs. Those costs are based on the weight of the final package, so please wait for a combined invoice after all the auctions have closed.
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
