    True, first day pressing with alternate mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows" and XEX 606-1 in the side 2 trail-off
MONO

Up for auction is an EXTREMELY rare original MONO copy of the Beatles  classic "Revolver" LP in stunning condition.  What makes this copy special is that it features the extended, withdrawn mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows" and has become known as the sought after 'XEX 606-1' pressing with that number etched in the trail-off of side 2. The copies were only available upon the first day of the LP's released and were quickly withdrawn to make the desired corrections by George Martin.  This copy has survived and has held up very well over the past 42 years and remains in close to NM condition. I have seen copies this nice sell for $750+ and the reserve on this auction is less than half of that amount.

*NOTE: I DO NOT USE THE GRADE 'EXCELLENT.' ITEMS GRADED 'VG+' WOULD BE THE SAME AS 'EX' IF YOU ARE USING RC STANDARDS.

CONDITION

COVER- The original flipback cover is a solid VG++ with no real flaws to mention.  The only issue is some extremely light right wear on the back cover that is beginning to form but it is not very noticable.  All flipbacks are intact and all colors are vibrant. There is no writing or seam spilts and all corners have held up well. The glare at the bottom of the back cover is from the camera. This is a very nice emample

VINYL-  The disc grades VG++ overall.  Side 2 with the alternate mix is in NM- condition with no scratches or scuffs in normal light.  Side 1 grades VG+ with 3-4 light lines are visible under light and are non-feelable.  The matrix numbers are XEX 606-2 and XEX 606-1

LABELS- The labels grade NM with no issues

INNERSLEEVE- Original 1966 patents pending UK innersleeve in nice condition
