Listed for sale is the vintage album Revolver by The Beatles, released in August 1966 by Capitol Records.   The album reached No. 1 on the US Billboard charts every major chart throughout the world.for 6 months.

Among its many appearances on critics' best-album lists, Rolling Stone ranked it 3rd on the magazine's 2012 List Of  "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time."

The vintage songs from this classic album are:

SIDE ONE:  Taxman  -  Eleanor Rigby  -  I'm Only Sleeping  -  Love You To  -  Here, There and Everywhere  -  Yellow Submarine  - She Said She Said

SIDE TWO:  Good Day Sunshine  -  And Your Bird Can Sing  -  For No One  - Doctor Robert  -  I Want To Tell You  -  Got To Get You Into My Life  -  Tomorrow Never Knows

The album was recorded in England.

Condition:  There is minimal signs of 'shelf wear' on the actual cover as it has been enclosed in plastic shrink-wrap for the entire 51 years of ownership.  Original price tag with CAPITOL noted on it. There is very minimal ring wear on either side of the album record (see close-up images of both sides).  The entire cover edges have no slits.

The color of the record is bright as it has been stored in smoke-free environment for decades. All four of the corners of the cover are in extremely good condition. The spine shows not wear and one can read the printing (Images 4 & 5). The inner sleeve has no creases, writing, slits or tears (images No. 10 & 11).

The vinyl itself is in VG+ condition. High gloss shine and very few lightly visible needle marks on the after-groove portion (See close-up images of both sides - Nos. 6-9).  Play graded VG++. Labels are clean with no spindle marks (See images).  Really the record is in overall REMARKABLE condition!!! Conservatively graded.

SPECIAL NOTE:  I personally purchased this album immediately after it was issued in 1966 in San Francisco.  This record has been played, conservatively, less than a dozen times in 51 years ... I played it for the first time since that era this past week (both sides complete) in preparation for listing this album for sale.

It was my practice to purchase albums of the era (1960s, while I was single !!) and immediately record them on my  reel-to-reel Stereo Tape Recorder for playback through my stereo system.  (See stacks of my tapes in Image No. 12 for informational purposes only; tapes not for sale).  This practice was true for all the albums in my library - I did this for every album.  So, this album is in excellent condition from a wear and quality standpoint as it has been stored continuously since that time.

Beatles Stereo:  One of the features I really enjoyed about Beatles' songs in stereo was the high degree of separation that existed in the recordings.  For example, I would turn the sound completely down on the Left speaker, and I might hear just the music on the right speaker ... sometimes, not even a faint sound of singing.  I would also try other combinations that would bring out some of the individual voices of a particular Beatle ... nice feature not often found elsewhere ... it still brings me pleasure, to this day, to listen to Beatles' music.

All our records are "visually graded" AND played through completely.

VG++  (Excellent)   Some very light scuffs, hairlines or a few visual imperfections that do not affect the sound.

VG+   The record will display light surface scuffs and marks. Expect some light surface noise in parts or occasional clicks or pops. A VG record will play with minimal noise and will be quite enjoyable.
