Description
This is the original first pressing (XEX 606-1) BEATLES MONO UK LP "REVOLVER" published in 1966 with the yellow and black label.
This first pressing famously contains the long (original) version of "Tomorrow Never Knows" and is not available on any other recorded media.

VINYL VG+. Beautiful original gloss which is unmarked in normal daylight (looks mint) - with only one or two very light hairlines under halogen light. Plays fantastic WITH LIGHT STYLUS DAMAGE ON THE LAST 3 TRACKS OF SIDE-1 (this takes the form of background crackle) - ALL OTHER TRACKS ON BOTH SIDES PLAY FAULTLESS - silent intros/between tracks - no pops or clicks. Matrix numbers:- XEX605-2 , XEX606-1.
LABELS VG+. One or two light spindle marks - see photos.
SLEEVE VG+. Original "PATENTS PENDING" - very clean with one or two creases. Polysleeve is also included.
INNER SLEEVE New with antistatic lining.
[My gradings are based on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, with out any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
