THE BEATLES - RUBBER SOUL
UK 1965 Y/B MONO PARLOPHONE PMC - 1267
XEX - 579 - 1 XEX - 580 - 1
Both matrices In the dead wax ending In (-1), so, the very earliest pressed Mono 'LOUD CUT' perhaps?. Have not researched enough to say for certain, but, guess somebody out there will know for sure.
The vinyl plays & sounds great throughout. There are no nasty deep marks, scuffs, or scratches at all, &, so, no loud or repeated clicks or pops, this album plays & sounds just fine, displaying just tiny amounts of light background static / crackle, really not much at all, & whatever surface noise there Is, Is never overly loud, or off-putting to the music. The vinyl still has a nice sheen, with just some tiny, extremely light top surface fine hairlines visible. Guess this album grades around VG to VG+. Plays & sounds great on my system, with no bad faults to mention. A decent original uk Mono (LOUD CUT?) first pressing.
The 'Ernest J. Day' front laminated flip-back sleeve, Is also In decent shape. The front lamination has a few very small lamination lines around the edges, & a few lamination creases / shifts, near the front covers opening edge, nothing bad at all though, still looks just fine. All edges & spine are excellent, barely any signs of wear at all. The black & white matt back cover with flip-backs, still looks In nice condition, consistently pretty clean, no bad, or unsightly markings, perhaps a tiny amount of spotting & age discolouring, & a little yellowing to the bottom flip-back (looks worse In the photo, than when In hand). There Is also a small amount of light ring / storage wear, again, nothing too bad. Many matt backed LP sleeves of this age, turn up badly, aged, stained, & very discoloured, but, this 'Rubber Soul' back cover Is In decent pretty clean condition.
The labels are very good, some obvious spindle lines around the centre hole, & a little wear too, but, these labels still look just fine.
The original EMITEX Inner sleeve Is also In very good condition, a little creasing, marking, discolouration, but, no rips, & no seem splits.
I will only send this Item by recorded post. I pack my records very well. The Item will reach you In the same condition as advertised & pictured.
