This listing is for an original 1965 mono 2nd press copy of the Beatles LP 'Rubber Soul', 1966 until 1969. The Second pressing of “Rubber Soul” has the “normal” cut  matrixes: XEX 579-4 / XEX 580-4 and XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5. Both combinations of these matrices have two types of labels. Variation A and Variation B.
This LP is Variation B: At some point after late 1966, Time New Roman has been changed to Sans-sherif type. The matrix number printed on the label is now misaligned to the datestamp, being too far on the left. It’s with this style that we find almost all the later standard pressings XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5. CONDITIONS:

COVER SLEEVE: The mono covers were manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. or Ernest J. Day.  Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. sleeve has the words "TRADE MARK OF THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." under the Parlophone logomark. In the original photo taken for the cover, there is a loose thread on right shoulder of John's jacket. This was airbrushed out on most covers in the U.K., but there is no correction here. Cover form: Single type. Wrap-around cover/Round-cut corner. (see pics.)
This copy features the much harder to find EJ Day sleeve, which is in a truly very nice, clean condition! This LP sleeve has the rare issued 1st press "6512 LL Printed and made by Ernest J. & Co. Ltd London", mono front laminated  flipback cover. This example is definitely in very good condition, with fully shine surface, gloss and clean, with no tears, writing, marks etc. There is a couple of light laminate surface liffts/traces at the edges. At the corners has a laminate wears. The, but the spine is well shaped, that is excellent fully legible/readable, two very slight wears and nice considering for it`s 50 years old. VINYL: The Iconic 1965 UK MOMO Vinyl record 'Rubber Soul'. Nice bright, clean and shiny, as it was just pressed! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT with NO really nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever! Daylight I find just a small cosmetic non-sounding and unfeelable scuff side 2 (only visible in direct angled light) mostly caused from where it has stored or been removed from it's cover near the 50 years! Of course, none of these ULTRA light blemishes really interfere with play AT ALL thanks to the deeply pressed quality! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity! Excellent condition!
AUDIO: The sound of vinyl record is most important for the client pleasure. Have playtested vinyl. Upon playing both sides, the record plays brilliantly with fantastic MONO sound-clarity, sharpness and depth! The sound really is great - clearly identifiable instruments and vocals! Plays fine, with dense, pure mono sound, without any scips or jumps, irritaining pops and clicks. Really a very desent sounding vinyl LP record. There is no any skips, jumps, or sticks, but there is periodic brief bursts of background surface may be static noise, mainly in-between qui?ter places, mainly after first track side 1. Such a specific sound you can only get from original 1st Mother MONO press, heavy-thick UK Parlophone vinyl record.  Amazingly perfect record at this age and rarity, listened to and stored very carefully in time! Excellent sound or better - personal point of view matter! The record's surface is clear, but the vinyl furrows are probably polluted over the years, and a professional cleaning will further improve the sound quality and clear the static noises. No deterioration in sound quality, plays excellent considering!
LABELS: Yellow Parlophone Type-6-1. Black and Yellow Parlophone label with silver print: the name "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD.(capital letter)" on the outer rim, the "SOLD IN U.K." remark, and the "(P) 1965" statement. "Sans Serif" type: PMC 1267, with 1st Mother and very early Stampers. Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible, no writing on the record label, no sticky residue or discoloration, except a couple light spindle traices on either side. Both labels are in excellent condition. KT tax is presented on label' side 1 (very well  noticeable).
INNER SLEEVE: The correct 1st PRESS handle with thick ORIGINAL tracing-rice-paper-lined "USE EMITEX" Sleeve Type-3 (1963-1966), die-cut inner sleeve. The words "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" is removed from the sleeve. The Sleeve is clear, has no writens and without any splits. Inner Sleeve is in excellent condition.
