Up for auction is an extremely nice example of the Beatles classic "Rubber Soul" LP on the original UK yellow/black Parlophone label in very nice condition.  This particular copy features the rare withdrawn "loud cut" mastering indicated by the -1 matrix numbers on both sides. These were withdrawn during the first week of release because George Martin was not pleased with the highly compressed and distorted mastering job. Since then, these copies have become a rarity and are highly sought after by collectors. These original UK LP's have become extremely sought-after worldwide for their stunning sound quality, and high level of collectability.  These UK versions are much scarcer than the US LP's and have become highly desirable as investment grade pieces.  I have seen copies of this LP go for as much as $200 in this condition and my reserve is less than half of that amount.  I am offering this copy at a low price due to a few flaws mentioned below. CONDITION

COVER- The cover grades a solid VG++ condition with no writing, ringwear, seamspilts, tears, or any other significant issues. All colors and bright and vibrant, and the back is still very white with no age yellowing. This is a stunning example!

VINYL- The disc grades a nice VG+ overall. Side 2 grades VG++ with no scratches but a few innersleeve removal marks and a couple of light styllus marks. Side 1 grades a weak VG+ with 3 small scratches, none of which measures longer than 1 inch. There are also a few sleeve marks and a couple of styllus marks. This is not a NM copy, but it is respectable for a rare record. Matrix numbers are XEX-579-1 and XEX 580-1

LABELS- The labels NM with no writing or wear of any kind and very few spindle lines.  The labels have the 'sold in the UK' text which designates a first issue.

INNERSLEEVE- Original EMITEX innersleeve in nice condition.
