The Beatles RUBBER SOUL uk 1ST pressing 1965 mono lp
This copy is an original 1965 UK mono 1st pressing which bears the very first incarnation of the familiar yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1267
Both labels contain'Sold in UK..' text and carry 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
Matrix numbers: XEX 579 & XEX 580 Stamper codes: 1/RA & 1/RG
Disc weight: 156g
Housed in an early front laminated, tri-flipback , was printed by Garrod & lofthouse ltd

Labels: VERY GOOD +
Both are clean, bright & unblemished with a number of faint spindle trails and a touch of wear around each cente hole. A few tiny scratches are also present but certainly no major faults to either.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean and retain much of their original deep-gloss shines. However there are several light surface marks visible in strong daylight consistent with frequent handling & play but just, inner-sleeve removal hairline marks but no other significant or major faults.
Play: VERY GOOD
This copy has been played many times but has no major deterioration or faults throughout. plays excellently but some light playwear/background is present on most of the other tracks. However, there are no jumps, repeats or any other major audible faults throughout.
Cover
VERY GOOD -
A respectable example of this frequently trashed cover which retains a bright & clean front panel laminate with just a few light edge wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or any major creasing. There is some wear to the lower corners but less so to the upper two and opening edges. The rear panel is fairly clean but has some ticks aside some songs on the track-listing and some faint blemishes towards the lower right corner. Both seams are free from any splits and the spine is fully worded & undamaged.
