The Musicland Flexi Disc Set
A VERY RARE 3 RECORD SET
This is a very Hard-To-Find Beatles record set. The Red - White - Blue Flexi Disc Set of 3 records issued by Capitol Records and Musicland record stores as a promotional giveaway to encourage the sale of the Capitol catalog of Beatles LP albums in 1982. This is a very cool set to own! Each 7 1/4" square vinyl disc is adhered to a card with photos of The Beatles on the front which are visible through the transparent color vinyl of each disc. Curiously, the blue Magical Mystery Tour disc features George's middle finger salute.
These scarce records was produced in very limited quantities with each record released as a Limited Edition with a Serial number. One of the biggest reasons this set is so hard to find is that the records were given out individually and not as a set. You could make 3 purchases and end up with 2 blue records and one white. All 3 discs are Near Mint. the titles are:
(RED) All My Loving / You Got To Hide Your Love Away - Serial #17171
(WHITE) Rockey Raccoon / Why Don't We Do It In The Road - Serial #24082
(BLUE) Magical Mystery Tour / Here Comes The Sun - Serial #23179
