ALL IN ALL AN EXCELLENT CONDITON, COLLECTORS PIECE HERE.
1 BOX EMI
The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks. This version was the transitional release from the traditional Parlophone yellow label to the two boxed EMI label. This run was incredibly short and few were pressed with the 1 Box EMI.

Vinyl: EX++. Having had the joy of playing her through it was a pleasure....Incredibly well looked after! Nothing to affect play....Superb sound. Even the run-ins are VERY VERY quiet.....A simple JOY to listen too. Only the lightest of marks-to be ultra critical!!-just from taking out of the sleeve and replacing immediately after play....SUPERB!
Labels: EX- No "SOLD IN THE U.K." central text. "THE GRAMAPHONE CO.." rim text. "Doctor Robert" text to side two label.
There are some spindle marks, only evident when angled towards the light. The only downside is a TINY scribble of pen to the '£' sign on side 1 only.
Sleeve: EX-. The front cover is in Excellent condition, lovely and bright..The record cover reads "Dr Robert."
The corners are STRONG, the spine is UN-CRUSHED-it even has the original factory 'pinching' to the top and bottom of the spine. The laminate to the front has only a few 1cm spidering areas to the seams, which are barely perceptible and a slightly larger, approx 8cm, visible when angled to the light. Good strong Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks to the back-there appears to be a slight ding to the back bottom left corner, but is hasn't broken through------all in all-------GORGEOUS!
Inner: EX+ Original EMI inner, but not to the period as it is a see-through inner.....Done the job well and kept this record in tip top condition! Plus it is an unusual clear inner with the EMI logo on it, which I have not see before...?
Please see my feedback for fair gradings.... 'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record, nor played it and kept it in fantasticly dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!
