Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Revolver' and is a 1966 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS THE MEGA RARE 1966 '606-1' 1ST MONO PRESSING WHICH PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'!!!! ONLY THE VERY 1ST MONO PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WITH A 606-1 MATRIX ON SIDE 2 HAVE THIS MEGA RARE MIX!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT - BUT YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL IT HAS THE 'DR. ROBERT' LABEL CREDIT - WHICH IS THE EARLIEST AND RAREST CREDIT!!!!  ALL LATER MONO (& STEREO) PRESSINGS (AND 1970S RE-ISSUES) HAVE 'DOCTOR ROBERT' - AND THIS OF COURSE IS VERY VERY COMMON.  BUT FINDING A COPY OF THIS LP WITH 'DR. ROBERT' ON THE LABEL INDICATES THE VERY EARLIEST AND RAREST PRESSINGS!!!!  HOWEVER WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER IS THAT IT HAS AN AMAZING COVER MISPRINT!!!!  THE COVER IS THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER 'E.J.DAY' VARIETY - AND HAS AN AMAZING MISPRINT ON THE COVER FRONT!!!!  IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES (AND THE CLOSE UP PICTURE) YOU WILL SEE THAT ON THE COVER FRONT RINGO STARR IS AMAZINGLY MISPRINTED IN BLUE!!!!  THE REST OF THE COVER FRONT IS EXACTLY AS NORMAL (BLACK AND WHITE) - AND YET FOR SOME REASON (CLEARLY A PRINTING ERROR) ONE OF THE PICTURES OF RINGO STARR (NEAR THE TOP OF THE COVER) HAS BEEN MISPRINTED IN BLUE!!!!  THIS HAS TO MAKE THIS COVER SERIOUSLY RARE INDEED!!!!  IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS MISPRINT IS UNDER THE LAMINATE AND CLEARLY SOME KIND OF MANUFACTURING MISPRINT!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE IN EVERY RESPECT WITH A 606-1 MONO 1ST PRESS MATRIX, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITH THIS MEGA RARE COVER MISPRINT - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing with a Yellow & Black Label, a KT tax code, a 1st Press 'patents applied for' white inner sleeve, 'Sold in the UK' text, an E.J.Day FLIPBACK Laminated Cover, and the 'Gramophone Company' edge text. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-1.  The mother and stamper codes are VERY early being - 1/RH & 3/RM!!!!  The Cat. No is PMC 7009 on the ORIGINAL Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, a few light hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with only a VERY few clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, only a VERY slight touch of MEGA low level crackle in a VERY few places, and only a MEGA faint touch of low level background noise on the occassional gap (most are SILENT) and the run on grooves (NOT in the music).  And of course the MOST IMPORTANT track 'Tommorrow Never Knows' with the different mix plays STUNNINGLY!!!! In fact this is one of the BEST sounding 'Tommorrow Never Knows' I have EVER heard  - with NO pops, NO clicks, NO distortion and NO crackle!!!! The record must grade visually Very Good (maybe +) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) - with the playing grade better still!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'patents applied for' white inner sleeve!!!! The MEGA RARE 'E.J.Day' MISPRINTED 1st Press Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), NO yellowing, only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing and only some VERY slight rubbing (MILES better than most)!!!! There is also NO splits, NO rips, and NO tears!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AS A '606-1' MONO 1ST PRESSING WHICH PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'!!!!  AND IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH THIS MEGA RARE MISPRINTED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE Beatles LP!!!!
