PARLOPHONE PMC 7009 Mono 1966 Made in Gt.Britain.

This is a rare 1st Press "Withdrawn Mix" copy of the classic 1966 Beatles album in original Mono. During a rare lapse of concentration, the very first UK issues were pressed with a rejected mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows" known as "Remix 11" These pressings can be recognized by the runout stamp on side two XEX 606-1 

Matrix No's are XEX 605 - 2 and XEX 606 - 1 

Yellow Parlophone logo with Silver Text on Black label. "The Gramophone Co.Ltd." in the radial text and "Sold in the UK subject to Resale Price Conditions etc." across the label at the centre. Northern Songs, NCB. Made in Gt.Britain at bottom of label. "Dr.Robert" on both label and sleeve instead of "Doctor" being spelt out. Ernest J.Day & Co.Ltd., London laminated front flip-back cover. Small MONO on front cover.

Side 1. Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, I'm Only Sleeping, Love You To, Here There And Everywhere, Yellow Submarine, She Said She Said. 

Side 2. Good Day Sunshine, And Your Bird Can Sing, For No One, Dr.Robert, I Want To Tell You, Got To Get You Into My Life, Tomorrow Never Knows.

Record condition: Very good condition with light surface marks visible. No major scratches or anything that affects the play badly. I've played both sides of the record and there is a bit of background noise in between certain tracks now and again and a bit of audible noise through certain tracks. None are over the top for the condition of the record and do not spoil the enjoyment of listening. There are no actual stops or sticks and the record plays well all the way through.     

Label condition:  The labels are both in very good condition with no writing or damage. There is evidence of play around the spindle hole on both sides. 

Outer Sleeve/Cover:  Original front laminated flip-back sleeve printed and made by Ernest J.Day & Co.Ltd., London in very good + condition with no laminate lift. Three or four tiny line marks towards the spine edge which really are minor and a tiny bit of rounding at the corner edges. A really nice condition front cover. The rear flip-back is very good, but has a name and dates written inside the white "Revolver" lettering. A little bit of browning is evident along the glue lines for the flip-backs. All in all even with the writing a very good + sleeve.

Spine condition: The spine itself shows a little bit of wear along the edge laminate, it has had a little bit of rubbing, but still well presentable with all the printed text clearly visible and easy to read. 

    Inner Sleeve: White paper, lined inner sleeve in very good, original condition.

Summary:   A rare "Withdrawn Mix" 1st Pressing of Revolver in lovely, original condition.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
