Description

PLEASE NOTE:
My camera has a few spots on the lens, these are visible on the photos, but it IS the lens, the item is perfect :-)
An unusual variant:
This, I believe, is a very early ( late '66 ) second press vinyl ( matrix 605 - 2 / 606 - 2 ) BUT has the 1st press label ( Dr.Robert error, with each song title starting on a new line, with the first line purely for Taxman, Eleanor Rigby starting on the second line down - also, the original labels had each song title followed by song credits, then lead vocalist, as the labels on this LP do - true 2nd press labels have 3 variants, different to the above ) Happy for anyone to tell me I am wrong, but I think the above is accurate :-)
Visually, the LP has scuffs, in and outs, light surface marks, with a few more obvious light surface scratches, not deep.
Play-Test:
Listening was enjoyable for both sides. No obvious repeats, clicks or pops. But has mild background crackle throughout most of the album. I didnt find it overpowering, but should be classed as a minor distraction during the quieter songs. I didnt hear any obvious groove wear or distortion. A very good, listening, playing copy, in my opinion.
The Y&B labels are clean with plenty of spindle trails and very mild spindle wear.
Original EMITEX inner is fine, no rips tears or writing.
The G&L flip-back sleeve has no pen marks or rips, just normal ageing, feathering to opening edge, but no wear to the spine, again, a very good sleeve.
More records listed.
I always combine P&P for records :-)
The LP will be well packed, and posted Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For.
Thanks, Paul.
