Description
First issue from 1967 with remix 11 version of “tomorrow never knows”. “Dr Robert” on label & sleeve
matrix nos / stampers are:
XEX 605-2 1 / GO
XEX 606-1 3 / GA
The vinyl is clean and has retained some shine, there are many light marks and some noticeable needle traces.
I’ve played it all through on a Rega turntable and it played with strong clean audio free of distortion and with no skips or sticking. There is light crackle and/or light clicks in several places, although it’s not ever present ortoo intrusive it does occur with some regularity. There’s a deeper scratch on side 1 (pictured) that generates some louder pops in the gap between the last two tracks, these subside when the track starts and do not intrude into the music. Overall it’s a decent listen, perfectly listenable with nice audio but it’s not audiophile quality. Probably grades visually as Good+ and plays a little better.
Clean labels, KT tax code on side 2, moderate spindle traces, no handwriting.
The sleeve is in EX condition, just general light wear, fully legible spine, no rips / tears, no splits or handwriting.
The original inner is in excellent condition no splits or rips.
The vinyl has been cleaned on my pro-ject VC-S cleaning machine using non-alcohol based fluid and is stored in a new anti static lines inner.
Please see photos.
I’m also selling some other Beatles vinyl from my collection, see my other listings.
If you have any questions please ask.

Gradings refer to the UK Record Collector Magazine standard (shown below). I would only use "mint" for genuinely unplayed records. Visual grading is done under a spotlight. Play testing is done on my Pro-ject or Rega turntable.
If buyer is not satisfied for any reason please contact me, I will refund on safe return of item.
Record will be packaged in a proper mailer with stiffening. I will pack with the record removed from the outer sleeve.
Mint (M) - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
