BEATLES - Revolver Parlophone PMC 7009 MONO 1966. 1st pressing with rare ‘mix 11’ of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’
This is an example of the very earliest pressing of this groundbreaking album featuring the withdrawn mix of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ and the Ernest J. Day cover, which are becoming VERY difficult to find and are therefore very collectable.

Test play revealed no skips or sticks. Deep full sound with less sound distortion than expected, so it clearly hasn’t been played excessively or with an over-heavy stylus. But, there is gentle crackle and light pops which are most noticeable between tracks and on the run-in and run-out grooves. The whole record is still a really nice listen though.
There’s also a small warp bump at the beginning of the side but it doesn’t affect play or tracking and you can only see it when the record is revolving on the turntable. A lot of hairlines and a few marks when looked at under the light but no significant surface damage or deep scratches.

Structurally sound front laminated flipback sleeve. No rips or tears, almost no creasing and surprisingly little shelf wear. Nice and shiny but there are two small creases (each of about 1cm length) emanating into the front cover from the spine that are discoloured brown. There’s also a slightly raised and discoloured patch on Ringo’s face (see photos).
