IN FABULOUS CONDITION!

Vinyl: Play tested. Heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl with a really nice sheen. No skips/jumps. Minimum background crackle - just a little at the beginning of  each side and occasionally in just a few places. A fabulous listening experience. Lovely sheen. A little feathering and a couple of faint hairlines only. Looks to be VG+ but plays Excellent. This is a true testament to the quality of these 1st pressings as they stand the test of time despite being played a lot over the years. The nicest I have seen in a long while. One careful owner from new who now wants to sell now that she has the new Beatles remastered box set. 

Cover: Gatefold fully laminated mono 1st pressing Garrod & Lofthouse cover is Near Mint. No writings/doodles or seam splits. Has the upper flip-backs inside the gatefold - only 1st pressings have these - later pressings just had regular seams inside the gatefold. Incredibly, there is no wear to the spine - these are often the first things to go on these covers but this one is stunning for its age.

Original inner sleeve: Excellent+.

Sgt Pepper insert:  Mint. Never been outside of the cover. Darker green 1st pressing insert. Later inserts were a lighter colour green.

Labels: Excellent+. KT Tax Code. 1st Pressing  1/1 matrices.

Gradings......

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
