THE BEATLES - VINYL FIRST PRESSING "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" LP 33.3 rpm
Matrix Numbers: XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1 (not reissue)Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Parlophone, PMC 7027, mono. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. laminated flipback gatefold inside flipback sleeve. Has rare "wide" spine with upside down print (not Fourth Proof"). Dark green cut-outs insert missing, but has original psychedelic "Flame" red inner sleeve.
First pressing. June 01,1967. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. The Gramophone Co. Ltd. printed at the start perimeter print and Sold in U.K. subject text. With KT tax code on Side 2 label.
Condition of Vinyl: Very clean. The audio quality is Very Good+ with no pops, clicks or jumps, and just some light occasional background noise in the very quietest places.
There are a few light scuffs that are visible under a strong light but absolutely nothing audible.
Condition of Labels: The Yellow & Black Parlophone Labels are both in excellent clean condition, with no writing damage nor noticeable wear to the centre hole or spindle marks, as illustrated.
Condition of Sleeve: The original outer sleeve is in Good+ Condition for its age, with a little damage to the laminate and text at the middle of the spine and some darkening mainly visible on the reverse. The original psyschedelic inner sleeve is faintly yellowed after 53 years, but remains clean with only minor splits to the edges.
