Original UK pressing with black and yellow labels and 'sold in the UK' on the label
MONO
Up for auction is an extremely nice near mint copy of the Beatles classic "Sgt. Pepper" LP. The original UK mono version of this LP is highly sought after by collectors for its superior mix, superior audio, and high level of invenstment collectablility. You will be astonished at how stunning this LP will sound. This is a true first pressing with black and yellow labels, original flipback cover, and all inserts in top NM condition. I have seen copies of this LP sell for $300-500 in this condition and I am offering this one at much less that amount. This is NOT the same copy that I listed and sold a few months ago at this same price. Thanks for looking!!!
*NOTE: I DO NOT USE THE GRADE 'EXCELLENT.' ITEMS GRADED 'VG+' WOULD BE THE SAME AS 'EX' IF YOU ARE USING RC STANDARDS
CONDITION
COVER- The original flipback cover is a solid VG++ with no real flaws to mention. The only issues are some very light creasing on the back cover that only visible when held into the light. There is also some slight wear to the spine. However, all spine print is legible and the spine is fully intact All fllipbacks are clean and undamaged.
VINYL- The disc grades a strong NM. The disc appears pristine and unmarked in normal light with no scratches or scuffs. Under a very bright halogen light, a few very whispy innersleeve removal marks are visible but you really have to look hard for them. Matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1
LABELS- The labels grade NM with no issues and include the original 'sold in the UK' text. THe label DOES list "A Day In The Life" on side 2
INNERSLEEVE- Original multicolored UK innersleeve and cutouts are included.
