Description
The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Parlophone EMI, PMC 7027, Made in the UK 1967.
Side 1: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, With a Little Help from my Friends, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Getting Better, Fixing a Hole, She's Leaving Home, Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite!
Side 2: Within you Without You, When I'm Sixty Four, Lovely Rita, Good Morning Good Morning, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, A Day in the Life.
Cover is in VG+/VG++ condition (Gatefold is in great shape, full lamination is still shiny and intact. Defects: corners have rubbing, back seam has a 3cm split at the top and the same for the bottom of the front one. A few light creases on lamination. Please have a look at the pictures carefully, they are taken from the actual record on auction).
Record / Vinyl is in VG+/VG++ condition (Record is in great shape overall, well loved but has very light hairline scuffs but no deep scratches that disturb play or listening experience. Amazing Audio reproduction, plays close to perfect, quite incredible considering its age).
This is the original Mono UK 1st press from 1967. It has the "Sold in UK Subject..." below the yellow Parlophone logo on the label. Matrix Numbers are XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1, the Stampers are: on Side 1, RLG at three o'clock and 4 at nine o'clock and on Side 2, MAH at three o'clock and 10 at nine o'clock. Side 2 ends with the silent 'whistle' and 'I never could see any other' repetition. The gatefold cover is fully laminated, manufactured by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending. Inside, the flipbacks are intact and fully yellow. Unfortunately, no original inner sleeve and insert (although these are fairly easy to find).
Overall, this is a great VG++ copy of the Mono UK 1st press release of this classic must have Beatles LP. Very sad to see it go but circumstances oblige. Please bid in accordance. Good luck with your bids!

My grading system: M (Mint, totally untouched, as new), M- (Very light wear, looks and plays beautifully without any problems), VG++ (Light wear but still looks and plays beautifully without problems), VG+ (Slight wear, thin, light marks on vinyl, could have light surface noise), VG (Wear, cover could be torn, split, record has marks, plays ok but could have skips and surface noise) etc.

Postage costs are NOT $4 as Ebay indicates but at various prices. For the UK, 1 LP is usually around £3.50, for Europe 1 LP is usually $10 and for the USA and the rest of the World 1 LP is usually between $10-15.
