Description
1979 Limited Edition PHO 7027 stereo Picture Disc in the die-cut sleeve and the vinyl housed in an inner polythene sleeve.
Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve made in the UK and the vinyl made in West Germany.
The sleeve is clean, intact and firm but has corner rubs and creasing along with laminate shrinkage creasing (very common) acquired over time. As such I rate the sleeve 6.5 /10 for condition, essentially for these cosmetic blemishes.
It's always hard to judge the condition of picture discs but this one looks pretty clean to me with signs of little or no play which is the norm as picture discs are invariably bought solely for their art form and collectability, the sound quality not being the best.
It weighs in at 148g on my scale so is of a nice weight. Has a hint of dishing (when viewed edge on) so condition wise therefore I give the vinyl 8.5 /10.
And the polythene inner sleeve is slightly grubby but has done a fine job over the years of protecting the disc.
