This Auction is for The Lp - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band By The Beatles.
1967 Stereo Pressing on the Parlophone Emi Records Label - Pcs 7027 - Matrix Yex 637 - 1 / Yex 638 - 1 - Made in Singapore.
Side 1: Sgt Peppers lonely hearts club band, A little help from my friends, Lucy in the sky with diamonds, Getting Better, Fixing a hole, She's leaving home, Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite! .
Side 2: Within you without you, When I'm sixty four, Lovely Rita, Good morning Good morning, Sgt Peppers lonely hearts club band(Reprise), A day in the life.
Vinyl - Vg+ - Plays Very good throughout with a very nice deep tone.
There is Some light static crackle in the dead wax leading into the 1st track on both sides of the record but goes once the music starts, there is a noticeable hairline mark on side 1 about 2" long starting near track 2 - I say mark and not a scratch as it doesn't affect play whatsoever and can't be felt with the finger nail, some very light clicks heard on tk1 side 1 but very faint and hard to hear - overall it plays Great throughout with no jumps or skips. Side 2 - On track 1 I heard 2 x clicks and 1 x click on track 2 but again it plays Great throughout otherwise with no jumps or skips.
Sleeve - The sleeve and inner sleeve have Made In Great Britain on them ? I don't know if it originally came with this sleeve or not, The sleeve is in Vg condition overall with no major defects although it does have some age related wear down the spine and around the edges as is pretty usual with a record sleeve of it's age - see pics for better idea of condition.
The Inner sleeve has a small tape repair on it where the vinyl has pushed through the bottom - see pics. Please note the cut-out card is not present although they are pretty easily obtainable.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
