HI and welcome to my auction. My name is Stuart, and let me start by saying that first and foremost, I am an avid record collector, and have been since I purchased my first record in the late 60’s. I have now decided that I don’t need so many duplicates of everything, so have decided to thin down my collection to make room! Most of the records I will be selling over the coming weeks will be either duplicates or ones that I have acquired that do not fit into my collection.

I take great care of all my records as regards storage and protection, and they are stored upright and in a dry and dust free environment, away from the light. All the ones I will be listing will be carefully play tested and visually graded whenever possible. Any significant defects to the record or sleeve will be noted in the listing. I will use the grading system found in the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide.

DESCRIPTION

VINYL. VISUALLY THE VINYL CAN ONLY BE ACCURATELY GRADED AS VERY GOOD +, HAVING A FEW LIGHT SCUFFS AND WHISPY HAIRLINES ON BOTH SIDES, BUT WHEN PLAYED IT IS SUPERB, WITH NO NOTICABLE CRACKLE, CLICKS, JUMPS, STICKS OR REPEATS. THE ONLY FAULT I NOTICED IS THAT ON THE FINAL BUILD UP AT THE END OF "A DAY IN THE LIFE" BEFORE THE FADING PIANO, THE VOLUME "DIPS" FOR ABOUT HALF A SECOND OR LESS (VIRTUALY UN-NOTICABLE,MAYBE DIRT IN THE GROOVES?) I WOULD GRADE PLAY AS EXCELLENT OR BETTER APART FROM THAT ONE TINY GLITCH.

SLEEVE  THE RARE GATEFOLD FOURTH PROOF LAMINATED "PATENTS PENDING" SLEEVE, WITH ITS "FOURTH PROOF" AND "ARD1321" PRINTED UPSIDE DOWN ON THE INNER FLIPBACK

INNER RED/WHITE SLEEVE. THE "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" INNER SLEEVE HAS NO SPLITS,TEARS OR WRITING, AND HAS LIGHT CREASING. THERE IS A STAIN MARK IN THE WHITE AREA ON ONE SIDE AT THE TOP, BUT IT IS HARDLY VISIBLE. I WOULD GRADE THIS AS VERY GOOD OR SLIGHTLY BETTER.

CUT OUT CARD INSERT. THE CARDBOARD CUTOUT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, WITH ONLY 1 VERY LIGHT CREASE ABOUT 1" LONG AT THE TOP. THERE IS NO WRITING OR MARKS ON IT EITHER SIDE.

OVERALL AN EXCELLENT AND HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER COPY WHICH WOULD FIT WELL IN YOUR BEATLES COLLECTION.
