Description
This is an original UK mono pressing of the 'Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP by The Beatles on the yellow/black Parlophone label (catalogue no. PMC 7027) with the matrix nos. XEX 637 1 amd XEX 638 1. The Garrard & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is laminated on all sides and is in great condition except for some slight creasing and very minor wear. The wording on the spine is perfectly clear and unworn. The sleeve has been graded as VG+. There is no red and white inner bag, it's the standard Parlophone issue. The cardboard cut-out sheet is in almost perfect condition and has been graded as Ex++. The labels which do show some spindle wear feature 'Sold in the UK subject to Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists' and 'Made in Gt. Britain'. The record plays with some surface noise and the odd pop and click and has been graded as VG+. This is a must for serious Beatles fans.
