The great masterpiece UK recording from the Beatles, prolific in the studio, and given a luxury of time and attention!
They were the best band of the times, and the music doesn't diminish with age.
This UK MONO pressing LP is a special album, and was the best of the era to musicians and public in general. Having heard both Stereo and this Mono lp, it's quite impressive how up-front and strong this sounds.
It really has something REAL here, standing out with an impact!
If you normally like Stereo but want to try another listening experience with Sgt Pepper's, I recommend this recording - as was recorded and mixed in the studio by John, Paul, George and Ringo, and their genius producer George Martin.
(The stereo mix was left to the engineers afterwards. They did a better job than on previous albums actually, and seemed to excel on 'Magical Mystery Tour' which followed Sgt Pepper)
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG+, playing and sounding great. Some marks, mostly do not sound.
*Unfortunately there is a skip ¾ of the way into 'Lucy In The Sky* - everything else plays well.
Yellow on Black PARLOPHONE Lables are VG++, no stains, stickers or pen. Lovely!
Raised 'K T' tax code on Side 1.
The LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER is VG+.
The spine and corners have some wear.
The gimmick insert and custom coloured inner sleeve are included in top condition, no split seams or tears!
