Of the three known PROMO versions of this recording, this is absolutely by far the RAREST version. It is doubtful that you will ever find many white PROMOs of this version with the factory stamped 'X'. These promo editions were forwarded to disc jockeys prior to the label officially releasing the record. The stamped 'X' was so the disc jockey could quickly identify the 'A' side he would more often want to play.

It is important to note that in addition to the Swan Catalog Number, the words "VIRTUE STUDIO", as well as an upside down 'R' can be found in the trail off area of the vinyl giving collectors the knowledge and confidence that this is the authentic rarely seen Ultra Mega Rare Swan White Label Promotional Copy of 'She Loves You' recorded in German.
The 'A' side label reads PROMOTION COPY. The time of the recording is just below at 2:18. On the left side of the label are the words GIL MUSIC CORP, with BMI under that. Just above the checkered wave are the words DON'T DROP OUT.  FACTORY PRINTED X occurs once on the left A side. The song title SIE LIEBT DICH is on one line and the English translation (She Loves You) is on the line just below, with DIE BEATLES under that, in bold. Thin printing style font. This particular super rare version was pressed in MONO on May 1964 by RCA. 

The 'B' side label is I'LL GET YOU. On the upper left are the words DON'T DROP OUT. On the right side below the checkered wave are the words PROMOTION COPY and the time of 2:04. On the left side below the checkered wave are the words NORTHERN MUSIC LTD., ASCAP.
Swan obtained rights for the German version of “She Loves You” titled “Sie Liebt Dich”. The German version was recorded in January of 1964 by the boys while in Paris, France at the request of EMI’s German operation.  So in May of 1964 the song was again paired with “I’ll Get You” (still in English) and released in the U.S. The result: Number 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a single week and then gone, other than spending four weeks on the “Bubbling Under” charts. Little is known of exactly how Swan obtained the German version. It is speculated that the company simply got it’s hands on a German Odeon record label copy and copied it. Under those rather sneaky tactics, Swan was hoping that EMI or U.S. Capitol records would not raise a fuss about the legality of the maneuver. But Capitol naturally did fuss and some sort of agreement was reached to withdraw the record from production. Court records of such a ruling have since been destroyed and no one knows the exact details. Swan managed to hold on for a few more years before closing it’s doors in 1967.
This Ultra Mega Rare MONO White PROMO was issued in May 1964. The Vinyl is very good, showing play, with scratches while retaining its original glossy appearance. The 'A' Label shows very small minor residue, however NO writing, NO tears, NO rips and NO fading. Please refer to the photos for the one minor label flaw. It will arrive with a sharp colorful 'She Loves You' S-4152 fantasy sleeve to store your new treasure in, to keep it safe for many many years.

Overall this treasure is in very good condition, especially for a PROMO that is now 56 years old. The value of this rare piece has increased dramatically over the past few years due to it's extreme scarcity. You can throw out all of the price guides on this one. It was once thought that the PROMO version of SHE LOVES YOU recorded in English (S-5152) was more scarce, however in the past few years it has become very evident that there are far fewer GERMAN version Promo Copies to be found for sale anywhere across the globe !! Most of these have been locked away by collectors. This is by far the lowest priced Swan white label 'X' Promo presently on eBay. The others range from $500 to $2000.
