Description

If you have been searching for a top grade copy of The Beatles “Souvenir of Their Visit to America” EP on Vee-Jay #VJ EP-1-903 (from March 1964) you have now found it! Both cover and record are in excellent condition. The cover is original, made of stiff pulp board with a glued on paper slick so it is NOT a counterfeit. It also happens to be in near mint condition with no rubbing, no writing, no stains, no discolouring, no seam splits or edge chaffing on either side and the spine is absolutely perfect. Very clean & it still SHINES under light! The bottom two corners have ever so slight pushes (barely noticeable) that do not distract from the overall beauty of this historical cover. It would certainly be most difficult to find a “Souvenir” cover better than this one. The 7” vinyl EP bears the Vee Jay “oval” label and contains the songs “Misery”, “Taste of Honey” on side one and “Ask Me Why” & “Anna” on side two. The vinyl shines like new and is near mint. Labels are also near mint, unmarked, no writing, no stickers, and only the slightest hint of rubbing on each side in very small areas. Overall, this is a TOP NOTCH example of a highly sought after Beatles record. Matrix numbers in trail-out are hand etched 64-3915-1. I also have other auctions posted this week for some great Beatles stuff, so please check them out too. Please add $8.00 for S&H in North America. Feel free to message me with questions and happy bidding.
