On offer here is a fully complete UK original 1967 Mono Yellow & Black Parlophone 1st pressing of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by THE BEATLES. It comes complete the original red and white ‘Fool’ inner in lovely condition and the sheet of cut-outs.
The catalogue number is PMC 7027 and the matrix numbers are Side 1 – YEX 637-1 & Side 2 – YEX 638-1. Mothers & stampers are: Side 1 – RMP 2 & Side 2 – RDT 4.
The record is VERY strictly graded in VG- condition, there are quite a few light marks and scratches on both sides but the record plays through really well as usual with these thick vinyl original UK pressings and sounds really good with some background noise and clicks but with absolutely no jumps, sticks, warps, dishing etc.
The original gatefold cover with the flipback flaps inside the centre of the gatefold is very strictly graded in VG- condition with some wear and creasing plus some spine damage but overall this is still quite a nice solid sleeve with no major damage. Comes with cut outs insert in near MINT condition. Also comes with the red Fool inner sleeve in nice VG condition with some creasing at the rear but no tears, splits etc.
The labels are superb with no tears, marks or writing and there are only light traces of spindle wear on both sides. A nice complete copy overall of a classic original.
