The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
1973 France manufactured EMI/Parlophone Records stereo LP, PCS 7027.
(For a short time in 1973 copies of Sgt Pepper for the UK market were pressed in France. These copies can be found both with and without track-banding (this one is without) and were issued with a UK manufactured fully laminated Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve with cut-outs insert.)
Matrix numbers: M6 297254 1 / YEX 637 - 1, M6 297255 1 / YEX 638 - 2
Vinyl visually glossy, clean and unmarked bar two or three of the tiniest of superficial scuff marks. Play grades near mint throughout with notably quiet dead wax.
Original plain "Patent Nos. 1125555" inner sleeve is present and in generally excellent shape bar some age toning and disc outline creasing.
Insert EX plus.
External sleeve EX and retains high gloss to both exterior and interior. Some minor laminate imperfections to front panel. A slight knock with associated laminate air pocketing to bottom left corner.
Overall a nicely preserved example of this nearly fifty year old release.
