On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 'CUT-OUT' GREEN INSERT, AND 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE!!!!

RECENTLY I RECIEVED 2 EMAILS.  NAMELY:-  "I have heard that early Pepper Albums came in a plain white inner sleeve, is that correct?"  and also "I thought it was well known that Pepper LPs released in the first week did not have the red/white inners, and should have 'patents applied for' inners instead?".  WELL IF THIS WELL KNOWN IT IS NEWS TO ME?  YET THIS SGT PEPPER LP DOES INDEED COME WITH A 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE - AND THE 1 PREVIOUS OWNER ABSOLUTELY CONFIRMED TO ME, THAT THIS LP WAS PURCHASED IMMEDIATELY IT WAS RELEASED (AND WAS DEFINITELY NOT BOUGHT LATER!), AND THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL INNER THIS LP WAS SUPPLIED WITH!!!!   AND THE INNER DEFINITELY DATES TO 1966 AND 1967 ONLY - AS IT IS PLAIN WHITE WITH 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' (SEE PICTURE!) IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER - IDENTICAL TO THE RED/WHITE INNERS!!!!  SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ON THIS - I WOULD BE HAPPY TO ADD THIS TO THE LISTING!!!!  MY OPINION IS, AND IT IS LOGICAL, THAT PARLOPHONE SIMPLY RAN OUT OF RED/WHITE SLEEVES ON SOME LPs AT THE TIME OF RELEASE (DUE TO DEMAND BEING SO HIGH), AND SIMPLY USED PLAIN WHITE 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNERS INSTEAD!!!!  BUT WHATEVER THE REASON, PLEASE BE 100% CERTAIN - THIS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' WHITE INNER SLEEVE WAS DEFINITELY THE INNER SLEEVE SUPPLIED WITH THIS LP AT THE TIME OF ITS RELEASE BACK IN MAY 1967!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND IS A VERY NICE EXAMPLE INDEED!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'YELLOW & BLACK' PARLOPHONE LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' LABEL TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'KT' LABEL TAX CODE, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'CUT-OUT' LIGHTER GREEN INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK FULLY LAMINATED MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Parlophone UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is PMC 7027 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! 

The record labels (see pictures) have NO writing, NO stickers, NO tears, NO wear (apart from some 'touched in' traces around the centre holes), NO annotations, and a fair amount of spindle marks to either label (though many of these are 'searchers' showing more plays than in reality)!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty 'concentric' marks AT ALL, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, NO nasty 'tick' marks AT ALL, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO skips, barely ANY clicks, NO skips, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound in places!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' Plain White inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'CUT-OUT' INSERT IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASN'T LEFT THE COVER!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback FULLY Laminated MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO edge splits, NO spinal wear, NO spine splits, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL (with some possible evidence of 'trimming' here - though actually they may well be 'as manufactured', because the WHOLE COVER HAS NO LAMINATE SHRINKAGE AT ALL (even the flipbacks!), and this is all I am basing this on!)!!!!  Even the laminated inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, STUNNING flipbacks, VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
