Description

This copy of Sgt Pepper comes complete with its original psychedelic sleeves and perfect condition cutout card. It is a first pressing in stereo and plays very cleanly with hardly any crackle.
Yellow on black Parlophone label PCS 7027 Stereo dated 1967 with no signs of spindle wear. Pressing matrix numbers are XEX  637-1 and 638-1.
Cover condition: Front very clean with one very tiny 3mm nick in the corner with the spine, and a few short faint (if they catch the light) creases in the laminate. The rear has a couple of short creases (again if they catch the light) in the laminate and a very faint ring mark. The spine is very clean with just the smallest of shelfwear scuffs to top and bottom. Inside the gatefold the condition is excellent except at the fold on the spine where the laminate has creased, see photo. Overall the cover looks very good in spite of its age, with almost unworn edges.
Sleeve condition: Original psychedelic print, very clean apart from a couple of small age spots. The bottom edge is split in the centre for 15cm length (the pressure of the disc on the thin paper).
Disc: Very glossy, flat and with slight signs of being played ( very imperceptible scratches except under strong light) but using the vinyl grading system it would be  “Excellent”. Plays very well indeed.
Overall in spite of my picky description, this is a superb example to own.
I am the owner and have probably played it no more than 20 times since new.

Postage to UK, additional abroad.
