Rare and collectable French PURPLE vinyl pressing from 1978.  

Possible the hardest to find of all the French coloured vinyl pressings.

Side 1 matrix   YEX 637 21   and  M6 2 53549, along with the etching 4177 A.

Side 2 matrix   YEX 638 21   and  M6 2 53550, along with the etching 04177 B.

Gatefold sleeve with the “Special Disque En Couleur” sticker.

Cut-outs insert with "made in France text".

With its original French “Precautions Essentielles…’ inner sleeve.

Record has only been played a couple of times since new.   Recorded onto cassette soon after purchase and the recorded version was played instead of the vinyl.  Sleeve has been kept in an outer poly sleeve since new.   Archive copy.   No need to ever upgrade. 

CONDITION:       I strive to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  It’s in my best interests to do so.  I WANT YOU TO COME BACK!    All records are checked in good light and play tested at a loud volume (unless described as sealed, brand new or stated otherwise).     STRICT  U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.

Playing condition is easily EX, if not better.

Visually the vinyl is in MINT condition.   Looks as new.

Labels in  MINT condition.     NO obvious spindle marks.    NO tears.  NO stickers.  NO writing. 

Sleeve is MINT.   Stored since day of purchase in an outer poly cover and very well cared for.    Sleeve bares no difference to a brand new one.   Stunning.  Can’t imagine finding a better sleeve example.    

Cut-outs insert is MINT.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
