Description

  • 1967 Parlophone Records PMC 7027, this is an original UK mono pressing of the classic Beatles "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" LP. Laminated gatefold flipback jacket (flips are visible on the inside of the gatefold) is EX (Excellent), showing some minor rubbing/ring wear and a few small corner bends. This pressing has the "wide spine", not the narrower version associated with later pressings. Vinyl is a shiny VG (maybe even VG+), showing sleeve/surface lines on either side. Playback is solid - some background crackle during quieter interludes, but never distracting - while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. Trail off is stamped  XEX 637-1 on side 1, and XEX 638-1 on side 2. Original cut out sheet is also included in excellent condition, as is the psychedelic inner sleeve in VG+ condition.
