NOTES
Up for auction, a non-unique compilation, here as the German EXPORT first press. Published two months after "YEAH YEAH YEAH" and two months prior to "Beatles For Sale", Odeon managed to squeeze in a custom release of the U.S. compilation "Something New". Its classic golden rectangled STEREO sticker is undamaged, fully intact.
"Something New"'s stereo version was published with both SMO and STO catalog number pre-fixes. It is the last release that was pressed in STEREO and MONO. Back cover of the German version is unique to publications released elsewhere in the world. Except for Germany, there's three more countries agrreing to release the STEREO Version of ""Something New" (which is why we call it a non-unique compilation):

- United Kingdom, Y/B Parlophone EXPORT, CPCS 101, early 1965
- Netherlands, S/B "Dutch" Parlophone, CPCS 101, early 1965
Unfortunately, this overall very good conditioned record is a lill bent on 7 o'c position.
Amazingly, this is not causing any jumps, or skips! Even on our super-sensitive Ortofan/Pro-Ject system it plays strong and thru without "complaint". Apparently, early 1960s-vinyl was still quality that nowadays may feel like from a different planet. German pressings, in particular, have a first-class reputation across all Beatles releases, both original issues and compilations.
Conclusion: If you're out for mint copies, skip this listing. If you're a starter or, for whatever reason, do not have this export copy on your shelf, this dignified lady is the one to go with!

1st Class Packaging
We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer.

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset. Remarks As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after. Spine is in a perfectly readable shape.
Cover has scuffed edges, and a cut at the insertion slot. Back side something yellows. Sticker is perfectly intact.
Vinyl is shiny, BUT a lill bent on its 7 o'c position, as mentioned under "beabay notes". Shows some hairlines and smaller scratches.
Regarding audio, plays perfectly thru, no jumps, or skips.
