PLEASE READ AD CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING. THANK YOU.
WARNING:
PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF YOUR FEEDBACK SCORE IS 0 OR 1. I AM SORRY, BUT YOU MAY BLAME THE SCAMMERS.
Up for bids is a great, rare, mono Rock LP by The Beatles called "Songs, Pictures And Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles". Vee-Jay Records. VJ 1092. 1964.RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING.
NOT A REISSUE!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING.
ERROR ALERT: BOTH LABELS ARE "SIDE 1" AND HAVE MISSPELLED "COFFIN-KING" FOR "CHAINS" WRITING CREDIT!
NOTE: This release had copies of "Introducing The Beatles" (VJLP 1062) packaged in cover. It's the same record. Originals never said cover's title.
Rainbow border bracket Vee-Jay labels with both artist and title above spindle hole.
Both sides' trail-off's have the "AudioMatrix" stamp, etched "URJ" and "ARP" stamped script logo.Trail-off's also have the date "2 - 6 - 64" faintly etched below etched "63-3402 - 1" for Side 1, and "63-3403 - 1" for Side 2.
Gatefold cover.
Please note that I proudly use the latest Perry Cox Beatles price guide and Bruce Spizer Vee-Jay book for grading and reference.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus,Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in Good+ condition. Front and back have wear. Inside fold has a name written in black marker on the top-left. Center of spine has 1 3/8" torn artwork. Bottom of cover has a 10 1/2" split. Still a pretty good looking cover all around.
I would rate the record’s condition as a solid VG. There are many marks and a couple of deep scratches that don't greatly affect play. 2nd "Side 1" label has writing in different color marker. Record still sounds great on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Beatles fan!
See my other auctions for more funky original records, cassettes, reel to reels, CD’s, and 8 tracks!
MY APOLOGIES IF THE SCANS ARE BAD, BUT MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE USUALLY DEAD ACCURATE FOR BACKUP.
